In commemoration of the International Day of Non-Violence, the UN reaffirms its unwavering commitment to peaceful advocacy and the defense of the rights of unrepresented communities around the globe. This day, celebrated in honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth, is indeed a powerful reminder of the ongoing need for dialogue, respect, and non-violent resistance in the pursuit of justice and equality. In many conflict areas of the world including Isreal & Palestine & Ukraine & Bangladesh In India HUM Sangathan is one such initiative led by Parveen that has brought peace, dialogue & unity since 2002 between Hindu and Muslim women in parts of Ahmedabad. #humsangathan Noorsuba Shaikh
